ABOUT the CCCF
All of us at one point in our life had a bike as kids, and most of us to this day still have many great memories about cycling throughout our lifetime. For many children in our city cycling is a luxury that they cannot afford. The CCCF is going to help alleviate this problem one set of wheels at a time.
The Canadian Children's Cycling Foundation (CCCF) was founded by David Ryce and Matthew Morrish as a way for both individuals to give back to a sport that has given them both so much. This idea came into play at the beginning of 2006 and has since grown into a mainstream event with future prospects in other major Canadian cities.
"We both wanted to help out and see the continued growth of an amazing sport that everyone can enjoy. We realized that the most amazing bike memories we had were as children and figured we would start there."
The Canadian Children's Cycling Foundation is not like any other Not For Profit organization. Striving on the ideals of maximizing end user benefits and rewards David and Matthew are determined to see the next generation of cyclists share and enjoy the same fun and memorable adventures that they have.
Whether it was exploring a new trail for the first time or finally riding without training wheels cycling memories are part of all us and the CCCF wants to make sure that future generations will be able to explore these new horizons for years to come.
